Group Work Task Two: Conflict Records Advertisment





Advertising requires a concise but strong message about a product or service. Using the design aesthetic we used in our first group project as a starting point, we chose to use animation as the medium for our advertisement. In the 15 second clip, we promote the main message of our brand through loud, contrasting block colours, and strong, concise statements about our service, creating an impact visually. The Constructivist design features subtly promote the ideology of change or revolution – a key part of our company’s brand identity. The literal representation of instruments promotes our brand’s service and the written statements target our audience of up-and-coming bands. We aimed to create a short and sharp in-your-face advertisement that catches the eye and draws attention to itself. The overall theme encompasses our company slogan and as a whole our advertisement delivers a strong visual message.
