Project Three: What Is Interaction And Control?

For this project I think it is important to understand the difference between interaction and control so that we can apply it correctly to our project. I have come up with my own meanings and explanations for the two below:

Interaction: Having an input to a situation, conversation and or code. When one or more things react. Each party has an input, each party has a response. Interaction is learning. Interaction is communication.

Control: Being able to manipulate at will. Not good for learning. If you know how something is going to respond it is control not interaction.

Three important questions we were given to ask ourselves during the development of our project are:
- What is the person learning from the interaction?
- How long does it take the users to completely learn the interaction?
- Will it still be interesting once they have learn't it?

Each of these questions relate back to ad involve the ideas of the words interaction and control. Now that I have an understanding of these words more I feel that I would be able to answer these questions successfully during and by the end of this project.
